Here are some tips for hiring an attorney:

1. Have the attorney describe how they would handle your legal matter.

2. Ask the attorney to describe any similar cases the attorney has handled.

3. Determine how they would bill the case. Contingency vs. hourly v. Hybrid.

4. Who would be handling the day to day work on your case.

5. Consider asking for references.
